Diaper Wipe Solution #2

My daughter only uses wipes occasionally so I modified several recipes to come up with my own recipe for baby wipes.

You can store the solution in a 4 oz. spray bottle and spray it onto the wipe at the time of the diaper changing or you can store the wipes and the solution in the same tight fitting, leak proof container.

Amount for a leak proof container:

1/2 roll of Paper Towel, several washcloths, or several cloth napkins.
1 T. Baby Shampoo
1- 2 T. Oil (Baby oil, olive oil etc.)
2 cups Distilled Water
1 plastic container that the rolls fit in

Optional: 2-5 drops Tree Tree oil (anti-bacterial)

Amount for a 4 oz. spray bottle:

1/2 roll of Paper Towel, several washcloths, or several cloth napkins.
4-6 drops Baby Shampoo
1/8- 1/4 t. Oil (Baby oil, olive oil etc.)
1/4 C. Distilled Water

Optional: 1 drop Tree Tree oil (anti-bacterial)

Cut paper towel in half with a serrated knife to make short rolls. Remove the cardboard from the center of the roll. Mix the liquid ingredients together. If putting in a container for wipes and solution, put one half roll of paper towels in a container and pour liquid mixture over it. Wipes will easily dispense from the center of roll.

Originally, I used washcloths; however, they were leaving too much lint on the cloth diapers after washing. I changed to using cloth napkins that I cut in quarters and then sewed.
