Great uses for Sam’s Club Micro Fiber Towels
If you want to try a less expensive soaker for diapers, Sam’s Club has “Micro Fiber Detailers Best Towels” in a 25 count bag for $9.58. 1 bag of 25 towels is about the same price as about 3 micro-fiber soakers, and I have found them to work just as good. For about $.40 each it is worth the try to see if the “Ultra Absorbent” towels work for you.
The micro-fiber cloths are 16X16 cloths and made of 80 % Polyester, 20% Polyamide. These were almost as thick as the Fuzzi Bunz™ micro fiber insert, but are so worth the price. I just fold them in 3 and they are ready to go as a soaker. Do not use them directly against baby’s skin as they do not wick the mosture away from baby’s bum and they are such a fine thread that they can catch on baby’s skin like velcro.
I have found that I needed to wash the cloths in very hot water at first because they do release color on white cloth, but after a few washes the extra over dye is taken out and they no longer leave a blue hue on white cloths.

I cut 1/3 off some of these and use them for my diaper wipes. I used a spray bottle when DD was small and now just wet 1 or 2 down when needed.
