The not so hidden resource on what we should eat and do from the USDA.

I recently lost over 30 lb. and I wanted to see what the USDA says about what we should eat. I also make most of the baby food for my daughter and I use to be uncertain as to how much I should give her and what I should give her. I have lost over 50 pounds in the past year!
For the first 6 months I just lost 20 pounds by having a baby and breast feeding. The next 15 pounds was lost by cuting out snack foods in our home, with the biggest snack being Ice Cream. In the past few months I have also started to attend Weight Watchers® meetings with another 15 pound reduction by using their Points® plan.
